The Génépi Divide is an annual non-competitive, two-day alpine trail running event. Organised by Peak Divide and sponsored by Altra Running , the 55km route takes about 50 runners across the Swiss-French border from Martigny to Chamonix. It’s carbs and cheese. It’s restaurant grade aid stations. It’s water colours and pétanque. It’s 1800m of vert in 12KM. It’s espresso and Orangina at a refuge. It’s an event like only the creative minds at Divide Event’s can put on.

I went along for the inaugural year to help document the shuffle and the BTS work that goes in to an event like this.
